Originally it was my friend Randy Stonehill who was asked to write this film theme song for Cording-Humphries Films, Inc. But he was unavailable to do it because of other commitments, so he asked me if I would do it. I was happy to. It is one of the very few rock and roll songs I wrote and produced.
Swamis yogis claim to guide you to a higher plain
Wisdom seekers, prophet-peekers, meditators are reeling your brain
But the only path is through Him who on a cross was slain
YOU'VE ONE LIFE TO LIVE
SO WHY DON'T YOU GIVE IT TO THE SON
YOU'VE TOO MUCH TO LOSE
IF YOU REFUSE HIS PLAN OF SALVATION
