IT'S SO NICE TO HAVE A FRIEND LIKE JESUS IN YOUR HEART
A FRIEND WHO SAYS HE NEVER WILL DEPART
IT'S SO NICE TO HAVE A FRIEND LIKE JESUS IN YOUR HEART
A FRIEND WHO SAYS HE NEVER WILL DEPART
IT'S SO NICE TO HAVE A FRIEND LIKE JESUS ALL THE TIME
I WOULDN'T TRADE HIM FOR EVERY NICKEL AND DIME
ALL THE MONEY IN THE WORLD COULDN'T BUY MY FRIEND
WE HAVE A RELATIONSHIP THAT WILL NEVER END
SO DON'T YOU SELL YOUR SILVER OR YOUR GOLD
WE HAVE A RELATIONSHIP THAT CAN'T BE BOUGHT OR SOLD
WHEN A NEED A HELPIN' HAND HE'S ALWAYS THERE
HE'S THE REASON I DON'T WORRY ABOUT WORLD AFFAIRS
CHORUS
* Included in this collection because Randy was a member of the Dove Sounds singing group where we all became friends and I met Randy and his wife Debbie (also a member of the group) while living at the home of the late Jim and Barbara Dove, and sometime ministered with them in concert as a soloist. I loved this song so much, I often performed it in concert, as you are hearing it performed at Hope Chapel, in Hermosa Beach, California. This song is in tribute to them who played a major role in christening me in concert ministry and touring.
